Once the chips and sawdust have been collected in the filter, they still need to be disposed of. Filters are generally equipped with a hopper at the bottom, which serves as a receptacle for these wood dust particles after they have been separated from the air. At the bottom of each hopper, an airtight rotary lock is installed to allow the chips and sawdust to be discharged into a transport circuit in the form of ducting, generally under depression, which transports these wood residues to a container or silo.
